My Story
​
Kris is a Registered Dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and a Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of Maryland. She graduated from a four-year degree program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in dietetics/nutrition and earned an MBA at the University of South Carolina. At the University of South Carolina, she served as a graduate assistant and sports nutritionist for the University of South Carolina athletic department where she worked with Division I athletes, coaches and trainers.
Kris is an active member of the Sports and Human Performance Nutrition practice group, a dietetic practice group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). Kris is also a member of the Healthy Aging practice group and the Cardiovascular, Health and Well-being practice group. She has worked in athletic, clinical and tactical (military) settings.

As a mom of two athletic boys, she continues to be active through crossfit, running and yoga. Her love of sports and the science of nutrition has enabled her to provide sound advice for people of all ages who want to incorporate nutrition into their lifestyle and training plans.
